03/03/2010 - Burnley, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Burnley midfielder Graham Alexander has declared himself fit after a five-week calf injury absence.
The veteran Scotland international has been sidelined since late January but is hoping to make his comeback during Saturday's Premier League trip to Arsenal.
Speaking about his appearance for the reserves this week, Alexander told the club's official website: "I was dying to get out there because it's been five weeks since I've been on the pitch.
"It wasn't the greatest performance from any of us but I was glad to get through it unscathed and give my calf and legs a workout.
"I felt quite good on Tuesday morning - better than I thought I would - so I was quite pleased with that."

With the playoffs about two months away, the top two teams in the Western Conference are the clear cut leaders to win the NBA Championship. The Dallas Mavericks have the best record in the NBA (44-9) and have been absolutely scorching since the second week of the season. What makes the Mavs’ record more impressive is the fact that they dropped their first four games of the season. No doubt, Shaq makes a difference when in the lineup as their winning six out of their last seven would indicate.
